Pay and Allowances
of the Several Officers, Assistants, and Servants

THE COMMANDANT

Pay -- £300 per annum - a House furnished - Allowances, Eleven Ton of Coals - Seventy-eight pounds of Candles - Fifty-two pounds of Soap - A plot of Ground for a Garden - and two shillings per day in lieu of Forage for a Horse.

TREASURER - BANK OF IRELAND AND ACTING TREASURER - Non-resident

Pay - £80 - per annum - Allowances none.

A CHAPLAIN, AND SUPERINTENDANT OF MORALS AND EDUCATION

Pay - £250 - per annum - a House furnished - Allowances - Ten Ton of Coals - Fifty two Pounds of Candles - Fifty two Pounds of Soap - a plot of Ground for a Garden - and ten load of Hay, Provender for a Cow.

AN ADJUTANT AND SECRETARY

Pay - £132 - per annum - a House furnished - Allowances - Ten Ton of Coals - Fifty two Pounds of Candles - Fifty two Pounds of Soap - a plot of Ground for a Garden - and two shillings a Day in lieu of Forage for a Horse.

A QUARTER MASTER

Pay - £80 - per annum - Allowances - Two Rooms and a Kitchen, furnished - Seven Ton, one Barrel and a half of Coals - Fifty-two Pounds of Candles - Fifty-two pounds of Soap - a plot of Ground for a Garden - and ten Load of Hay, provender for a Cow.

A SURGEON - Non-resident

Pay - £100 - per annum - Allowances - two shillings per Day in lieu of Forage for an Horse - and £20 per annum in lieu of a Garden.

AN ASSISTANT SURGEON - Resident

Pay - £31 13. - per annum - Allowances - Two Rooms and a Kitchen, furnished - Seven Ton, one Barrel and an half of Coals - fifty-two Pounds of Candles - fifty-two pounds of Soap - and a plot of Ground for a Garden.

A SERJEANT-MAJOR OF INSTRUCTION

Pay - £54 15. - per annum - and in lieu of Diet £22 15. with an allowance of Coals and Candles for one Room - Clothing - and one stone of Potatoes per week.

QUARTER MASTER SERJEANT

Pay - £36 10. - per annum - and in lieu of Diet £22 15. with an allowance of Coals and Candles for one Room - Clothing - and one stone of Potatoes per week.

FIVE SERJEANTS of INSTRUCTION - Each

Pay - £30 - per annum - and in lieu of Diet £22 15. with an allowance of Coals and Candles for one Room - Clothing - and one stone of Potatoes per week.

DRUMMER

Pay - £13 5. - and for officiating as Sexton, £4 11. Per annum, with an allowance of one Room's Coals and Candles - Clothing - and one stone of Potatoes per week.

TWO SERJEANTS ARTIFICERS - each

Pay - £1 4 0 per week, with an allowance of one Room's Coals and Candles - Clothing, and one stone of Potatoes per week.

SERJEANT TAYLOR

Pay - £56 17 6. per annum, with an allowance of one Room's Coals and Candles - Clothing, and one stone of Potatoes per week.

SERJEANT BAKER

Pay - £30 per annum, and in lieu of Diet £22 15 0 with an allowance of Coals and Candles for one Room - Clothing; and one stone of Potatoes per week.

SERJEANT GARDENER

Pay - £40 per annum, with an allowance of one Room's Coals and Candles - Clothing - Ten Barrels of Potatoes - and Ten load of Hay for a Cow.

SERGEANT-MESSENGER -Non-resident

Pay - £9 per annum, with an allowance in lieu of Diet £22 15 0 - and Clothing.

SERJEANT PORTER

Pay - £9 per annum, with an allowance in lieu of Diet £22 15 0 - one Room's Coals and Candles - Clothing - and one stone of Potatoes per week.

CORPORAL PIONEER

Pay - £29 11 6 per annum, with an allowance of one Room's Coals, and Candles - Clothing - and one stone of Potatoes.

MATRON

Pay - £80 -- per annum, allowances, Apartments furnished; Seven Tons, one Barrel and a half of Coals - fifty-two pounds (sic) of Candles, fifty -two pounds of soap - and a plot of Ground for a Garden.

THREE SCHOOL MISTRESSES - each

Pay - £30 -- per annum, Allowance, in lieu of Diet, £22 15 - one Room's Coals and Candles - twenty six pounds of Soap and one stone of potatoes, per week!

A LAUNDRESS AND DAIRY MAID

Pay - £30 -- per annum, Allowance, in lieu of Diet, £22 15 - one Room's Coals and Candles - twenty six ponds (sic) of Soap - Clothing - and one stone of Potatoes, per week

A COOK

Pay - £10. per annum, allowances, seven pounds of Beef, nine pounds of Bread, one pound of Butter, and one stone of Potatoes per week - Twenty-six pounds of Candles - Twenty six pounds of Soap, and Clothing.

ASSISTANT COOK

Pay - £6 16 6 per annum, ALLOWANCES, Seven pounds of Beef, nine pounds of Bread, one pound of Butter, and one stone of Potatoes per week - Twenty-six pounds of Soap, and Clothing.

HOSPITAL NURSE

Pay - £10. per annum, allowances, seven pounds of Beef, nine pounds of Bread, one pound of Butter, and one stone of Potatoes per week - Twenty six pounds of Soap -- and Clothing.
